BUG: Can't Harpoon Container Door in The Dredges

So there's a container in the Dredges that you are supposed to be able to harpoon to enter from the south side rather than the main gate. You are given the hint about it from the dweller close by and the misson breakdown. However, I can't harpoon it. I've watched a couple of YouTube videos of this part and they all harpoon the crap out of that door, but my car won't. I've tried everything to get it to work to no avail.

EDIT: You'll notice in the picture, there is no white boarder around the door signaling that I can hook on to it.

I did upgrade it to level 3, but even if I equip the level 1 (weak structures) harpoon, it still won't highlight to grapple. I may have glitched it when I put a canister of gasoline by it and tried to blow it up. Also, loading after dying, rather than continuing seems to cause all sorts of weird bugs, so it might have been that too.

I have since started a brand new game and have gotten to that point and was able to open the container properly. But I really liked how I was progressing on that particular save file. Oh well. I also created this thread because I couldn't find a single instance of anyone else having this issue after a rather extensive google search, so this will hopefully be here for anyone else who has this issue.

Level 5 or 6 opens containers. Get the upgrade and you can progress.

I can't speak to that, since I haven't quite finished getting all the hook upgrades, but in this case that is not needed.

As I said, I have already restarted the game and gotten to that part and opened the container door with my level 1 harpoon which I hadn't upgraded this time. You can watch any video of people doing this particular place on YouTube and see that they too are using a level 1 harpoon.

This is most definitely a bug. Thanks for the feedback nonetheless :)
