Archangels? whats the point?
I dont get it. Why do i build the archangels? I just finished the 'Jack' and that bucket of bolts is worse than my starter car. Also, if i change to the 'Jack' car, all my upgrades i have installed on my 'Ripper' revert to some basic standard. I thought the Archangels was a seperate car? Its not? Lol, im confused.

You need to do the quests and build them all to unlock some of the upgrades, :steamhappy:
Archangels are sets of spcific upgrades for the Magnum Opus. They ARE the Magnum Opus with specific upgrades.

But, if my upgrades, the ones i do to my "normal" car is better than the ones i can have in the Archangels, whats the point? The 'Jack' i cant upgrade at all but my starter car i can upgrade as i want, if i have the scraps and the other requirements that is. Why use the Archangels car when my normal car is better?

There is basically no point but using them in quests. You're bound to have better upgrades than the ones used in archangels.
The only reasons I can think of are to use them as templates, or in Death Runs.

Death Runs are, simply put, races. Each Death Run location is a different track with 2-4 times to beat with specific vehicles or Archangels and an "Opus Wars" challenge where you race against the times of your friends in your own Magnum Opus. By saying "templates" I mean them in the general sense - as in, you take an archangel you like and do minor tweaks to suit you, but even that is a less than optimal solution. The best thing to do would be to just buy the best upgrades excluding ram, armour and engine which you choose to your preference.
By the way, there are 3 different types of Death Run events:
Barrel Bash - You are forced to drive along a specific path
Scatter run - you can choose your own way to the finish
Time bomb - Like scatter run, but instead of opponents you have enemies attacking you... or not at all.

Also, there are two goals to complete for each Death Run event - win either by killing or outracing your opponents and beat a specific time.

Yeah, I was a bit confused on that stuff too. So I'll just keep the focus on building upon my main car like I've been doing anyways. :)

I'm in the same boat. Archangels don't make any sense because by the time I completed the story misson to unlock Archangels I had already upgraded my car above the first Archangels (jack) So I'm like why would I want to build an inferior car.
