Was thinking about getting this game and looking at it on the store page and I noticed (title)

What was the online function of this game ?

Was it multiplayer?

Is it still great game to get ?

I love the mad max movies ! \m/

It's a blast to play. As far as i know there are some achievments you cannot unlock anymore There is also a feature that generates some scrap (resource) while you are offline that is not working anymore. But this is not needed at all you can get all the scrap by simply playing the game.

Sadly it never had a multiplayer but since Mad Max is a lone wolf anyway it wouldn'T make much sense to be honest.

Does not change much, only you cannot compete on leaderboards. I'm not sure if you can get all achievements. You will get enough scrap resources anyway by playing the game. The game is quite enjoyable im finishing it lately, doing most of side stuff and the main story will grant you at least 50hrs.. much more if you want to do 100%

I've just replayed it - awesome game - I think there's 2 achievements you won't be able to get so you won't be able to platinum - but if you're not chasing achievements then the game is still amazing and a lot of fun

I liked the game quite a bit, but I have to admit I can't recall what online functionality it actually had. So probably not too important?
It's a good singleplayer game with brilliant vehicle combat and cool Mad Max world. I'd say it's definitely one to play if you like Mad Max.

There is only one achievement that needed the online connection to work, and even that can be obtained by downloading a save file. Other than that, you're not missing much. The game is mainly a single player experience and it is very good.

Get The game, it is one of the Best open world, post-apocalyptic games, nevermind achievements and stuff, just feel The madness of Max, feel The V8 engines, feel The convoy raids... Overall it's a very good game, and also an underrated one. I hope they Will make a sequel to it...

one cheevo needed the online feature. on nexus mods and in the steam guide section you can find a save game that lets you get the last cheevo,

even if you want to 100% the game, you can still do so.

I was wondering this too. Hope someone here has a more definite answer but I assume it has to be removed as well if online functionality is to be removed. Denuvo forces an online connection periodically to ensure the product's legitimacy. If you can't connect when it wants you to, you can't play. I'd imagine the loss of denuvo is a welcome bit of collateral damage to the loss of online functionality. But I'm only guessing here.

I can tell you that the game is asking me to revalidate. And i cannot do that as the link i am supposed to use is broken.

There is also no support be it steam/Avalanche or WB games to help me with the problem.

Steam does not care as it is a 3 party product. Avalanche does not even have a support. And WB ignored several emails of me. So i am sitting on a legitimatly bought game and cannot use it anymore.

I also cannot buy the game again cause i already own it. (The irony)

I know i could delete it from my account and then rebuy it but i keep it as a reminder.

I would not have this problem with an pirated version. (once again the irony)

The anti piracy tool is harming us customers more then it is harming the pirates.

Denuvo has to disapear it is a disease. It's not stopping piracy but it is a major issue for real customers.

Just use S.A.M. if u wish for the 2 online achievements, it wont get u ban at all, it is safe, but remember only use for those retired online achievements or those impossible to get...

Is there a curse with online & Mad Max games?

There was that really great "Ravaged" game (well, back then) that suddenly stopped working and got removed from Steam. It was purely multiplayer but I loved it.

Oh wait.. the game actually WORKS AGAIN?? ♥♥♥♥ yeah
