Seems WB is pretty smart. They did the same thing in Shadow of War. How about, not implenting online features in mainly single player games?
Which means the two ingame challenges; A Penny Saved and Dividend cannot be achieved in the usual way.
I don't know if the time is correct. I usually get 500 scrap at the moment.
I know, i just asked a separate question.
Fair enuff, my apologies..
Scrap Crew used to give scrap while you were offline/not playing the game.Since servers are shutdown they no longer work at all.(very bad when single player game has to depend on a server.....)
So liberated camps still give out money as they are non server dependent, while scrap crews do nothing at all.....
Failing that, I wonder if it's feasible to emulate their server. You could redirect the lookup using the hosts file. It's probably a very simple, unauthenticated protocol, after all for this function to work all it needs to do is ask what time it is. But without a working server to observe, it might be hard to reverse engineer what the server response needs to be.
