Should've grabbed it...I think the original Australian version is quite different than than the following releases.

I recall Opie & Anthony discussing Road Warrior and it was mentioned that for US release the actors did their lines less aussie sounding or it was dubbed later? I can't find the Youtube clip right now and i might remember wrong. Somebody can correct me if i'm wrong.

As far as I read, the american release was re-dubbed. Why? I don't know, maybe they thought americans wouldn't be able to understand aussie-speak.

I think when it was originally release it was called Mad Max 2...it got chnaged to The Road Warrior for the US market because no one even heard about about the original 'Mad Max'
and it also got dubbed to 'appeal'
to US audiences...there's a version also that has many deleted scenes,added and rearranged scenes too.
