It's very close to what most Mad Max fans expected it to be, with some rough edges. It's one of the very few and the only Mad Max game worth playing.
Yeah but still, a 5.5 is like pretty much unplayable bad in my opinion. Mad Max is at least a 7 or higher. Heck if I was a "professional" reviewer, I would have given it an 8 at least. The combat is brutal, the graphics are great, and it really captures the world of Mad Max. I don't like the gunplay and the voice for Max.
You can kinda call every game repetitive in a way. Just saying this game might not be great, but it is far from a 5/10 in my opinion.
The combat might be a ripoff of batman but it is done a lot better. The combat astetics are awesome. I cant get enough of it. So satisfying playing with the enemies. So satisfying to walk behind a enemie on his knees and break his neck :) Dat ♥♥♥♥ is too good.
Also this game might have the best explosions to this day.
Who cares if you do allways the same as long as what you do is great, I rather do one thing over and over i enjoy then having the choice between 10 things that all equaly suck. Looking at you Ubisoft...
I am not a Mad Max fan and i still love this game
"Polygon"
Do people even look at rating from those "gaming journalists"? Remember, gaming journalists are not yor friends. They are obviously getting paid in order to "shape" the crowd. I even recall the IGN post about PC version of Destiny 2, which the "journalist" blamed and called it a bad version on the game. Just to conclude in the end that It's bad in the same sense of that It's so good he can't get back to the console version now, hence why It's a terrible experience. He was doing it unironically. Does it make any sense? I don't think it does.
I lost the 4chan (edited: 4сhаn is censored lol) link regarding the latest Diablo outlash, which had a lot of "gaming journalists" attacking the crowd who got mad at (Activision) Blizzard and their presentation for the right reasons. Just like if they were paid to take action in the damage control.
There is a lot of examples of how rеtarded those companies are. There is a lot of examples on the Internet, but do you really expect people who write that[i.imgur.com] to be in their mind and give you an actual representation of the game?
Excuse me for the long post. I just want to tell that crowd reception is what matters. Those "gaming journalists" can suck my dong.
WB is only publisher.
How can a products only flaw be that it was developt by a certain company. If it is a good product the company was certainly doing a good job. i realy would like to understand what exactly youre opinion about WB is and why you consider it as a flaw.
They didn't put enough trust in the game because of those rotten journalists and their reviews.
ya but thats just taking a guess. i was just reading an article today about the warcraft movie and how it was ruined by certain companies and investors. Its sad when a piece of art gets deformed like that.
I realy want a mad max sequel and a warcraft sequel.
Not exactly my choice of genre for a mad max game but enjoyable none the less.
Professional critics are never to be trusted. User reviews are better.
