Mad max how do I change the time to night

I've been playing dis game for more than 23 hours but still haven't seen night time.... It's always day....is it a bug?

Sounds like you are early in the day, happened to me last night, i had one side quest left that required it to be night. I tried fast travel, driving across the map multiple times, I have everything upgraded so I couldn't do any of that. Went and did a story quest, was nighttime when i completed it. Try doing races, that was going to be my next attempt, but I only needed it to be nighttime once.

This is unverified but....maybe if you start the 2 night required missions(one in Deep Friah,one in Gastown strongholds) but don't do the mission(they will appear on the map tho')...that may trigger the game to start using a more frequent night day cycle.

the 2 missions where night is required are Wasteland missions(not needed to finish the main story) 'Torch Them All' and 'Rustle Dazzle'.

I was just playing the game(I have a save with all wasteland missions open)..
it was night when I came out of the Underdune...was night all the way back to Deep Friah with the kid...left the stronghold...it was still night....so I saved it...when I loaded the save a minute later it was day....so even if it's night you can't save a it and have it be night when you reload it.

I keep playing the game without using fast travelling. Every time I use fast travel it reset time to morning.

Have you set the Clock in Jeets to "Start the Timer"? This will turn day into night... Play on.

Can you carry on playing once you have completed the story? So like free roam etc and carry on saving?

Yes. So finishing main story is advisable to not block some upgrades, etc.

Thx! But how do you mean not to block some upgrades? And can you upgrade or modify the collectible vehicles also?
