if you didn't repair it ...it MAY cause any program to not work correctly...
I know you posted that you re-installed MM but verifying the install fixes many common problems...run it at least twice
--
Do the usual PC optimization stuff too(to avoid the BSOD)..
I run a registry cleaner/repair quite often
I'll run a manual scan dis...run the defrag,etc
many times when there is a BSOD the PC upon restart will set it back to the default settings
check your anti virus if it still has MM as an exception or disable it
--
you could run a 'clean' install of your GPU drivers
--
try running madmax.exe from inside your game folder as 'administrator'
Win 7 64bit (On SSD)
Intel Core i7-3770k CPU @ 3.5 ghz (8 CPU's), ~3.9ghz
32 gig ram
Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080 G1 (8gig VRAM)
Well yes, after I ran the "verify files" and it d/l 11 files and it still crashed, but I didn't run it again after reinstalling MM, will do that now. Will try out your othert suggestions as well, Thankyou.
EDIT; Well I tried all that and still no joy :(..
Nice system..much better than mine..Win 7 is a stable OS...I'm kind of surprised you got a BSOD....are not game related....but OS related...
did you have an Win update recently?
Did you run a ful virus scan lately?
---
Oh...try the 'ole' reinstall ALL the redist....in the
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Mad Max\_CommonRedist

I just checked today and I see that the prices are finally starting to come down...
a few months ago my 1060 was just about double the price ...today it's only $50 more...which of course is BS...even the $150 1050 is $200...whereas a few moths ago they were close to $300
Just in case this can help anyone else, this is what I did. The first time I unistalled and reinstalled MM, I just d/l it thru Steam. However because I had bought the actual disc version I decided to try it installing it from the discs.
So I uninstalled it again and reinstalled it from the discs, which basically installs half the game and the rest d/l's thru Steam. After doing it this way the game worked again without the freeze and the mad max.exe issue...
Thankyou to all of you who posted here and tried to help me, I really appreciated it :)
