Report a translation problem
As for identifying them there are 2 or 3 ways;
1, sometimes, not always. Chum will tell there is one nearby.
2, if you drive close enough to one a message will appear above it.
3, remember what they look like, as they look different to other rusted out buried cars, and remember where they are for future playthrus.
As for minefields, same as above... (There are 2 per region, exept for Colossus in Jeet's territory that only has 1)
Drive close enough without hitting one and the icon appears on map. Also if you see a large bunch of burned out cars in a "circle" area then it is porbably a minefiled.

Finding minefields was always a bit annoying for me.
I spared it until everything else was done, then I took the buggy and used google for some map screenshots with the minefield locations.
Was too lazy to search them for myself. XD
Since some missions (I try to get the V8 ASAP) require threat reduction.
