Corrupted Save

Anyone else have this? I reloaded the game having not played for a year or two, played a bit but then after upgrading Pinkeye's settlement the game wouldn't load. So I restarted. It was so long since I had played it was like a new game anyway... and guess what. Save corrupts just after I upgrade pinkeye's settlement. I am not a happy bunny. Anyone else get this?

Yeah...
I just finished the game with stuck on 99%.

Looked at a few screens of 100% savegames found on the forum and realized that I only solved 57 wasteland encounters, while others had 68.
One even had 69, so after all it appears to be a fishy number.
Yet I guess the reason for being stuck on 99% is that I missed a few of those encounters and couldn't find them anymore int the endgame.

Just restarted with playing very carefully and trying to clear out the areas before I advance in the main quest.

As a side-challenge I try not to get killed. XD
Had at least 51 deaths recorded in my 99% savegame. Hopefully I can get 100% this time with zero deaths.
But I definitley make backups just in case.
One of the "Mad Max" folder in "WB Games" under the user documents.
And one of the "234140" folder in the UserData directory of Steam.

Is actually my second playthrough to be honest.

Yeah that worked. Thanks and phew! Not sure why it failed at the same time in both games, though.

Yeah, i couldn't get 100% in in-game stats either, but that's fine. I heard you need to also try out all car ornaments, try it and say if that helps :)

I've overwritten my previous save. XD
But that's fine as I am actually totally into the game again. :D

Just wondering if any enemy camp has also an intel encounter. :/

Bring objectives info inside camp, if it has intel - it will be written whether you got it or no.

Yeah, I just checked it nearby a camp which has intel.
There is an additional notification about the intel in the objective window.

That's actually quite easier than the intel for convoys, but I rather wait clearing out the convoys until I am definitely sure I got the intel.

Yeah, it's impossible to see if there's intel for convoys. Although it's rare and easy to notice usually.

I'll be more careful at this playthrough, to be sure I won't miss anything.
In my first playthrough I had all Bios and Collect Stuff and even finished all death races with legendary time.
But after completing all challenges, still stuck at 99% I gave up and thought about a restart.

And additionally to collecting literally everything this time and don't mindlessly advance in the game, when there is stuff that can be missed, I'll also make a nice challenge out of it by trying not to do. :D

I can say that intels don't seem enough, i've compared my stats with screen of guy with 100% - i had everything the same.

Ok... Well I'll come back to this when I am not reaching 100%.
But I surely attached everything onto the Magnum Opus, as I didn't want to see any "0 scrap required" message in the workshop tab.

So I definitely think that I was missing the intel encounters on various bases and convoys, as I only had 57 overall encounters at the end.
Some people with 100% had 68 or 69.

This happens to me just about every other time I load the game. This works for me every time (Windows 10 x64):

Open the Save Game Backup location:

%userprofile%\documents\WB Games\Mad Max\Backup Saves\

Delete all the files in this folder. They are almost always 0 bytes so you aren't actually deleting anything useful.

Restart the game and that should be it.
