Grill = Brawl Bar

Also it is best to have the thunderpoon FULLY upgraded, that way it only takes 4-5 shots to end the race. Not that they help much but you can also add hood ornaments for extra weapon damage if you want.
Also best to have your boost upgraded as well. The reason I like to use armour is because it hoilds you to the road so you don't bopunce and slide around bends and the lower suspension helps with this also.
Finally if you comfortable with 1st person driving I highy reccommend it as it gives you more control over the vehicle in my opinion and makes it easier to handle. At the start of the race, if you are quick, you can usually get 1 hit in early by just using the quickfire button.
Hope this helps you mate...
Upgrade reload time is the most important feature. Next is Boost. Then Thunderpoon to L4 at least. Just boost past the the other cars at the start and then it's easier to stay right behind him, he's not that fast.
During the countdown hold the aim button centered and fire as soon as the crosshair appears for a first hit on Stank Gum.
My first time through I went without any upgrades, Gastown as soon as possible, ignoring all else. Took about 30 tries to get it done but I sure get the most out of a game!
