Have you just purchased the game? or has it run before on your machine?
If it has run before Verify Game Cache. If not then look at your spec's for meeting the requirements on the Steam Store page.

I was seeing it here, it is for lack of two dlls, msvcr100.dll and MSVCP100.dll, and to fix it is to download the visual c ++ 2010 redistributale package... download 2 dlls ANNNDDDD POOOUU GOD LIKE .. RUN EASY ... srry my english so poor in from brazil ...
(NOTE: copy for WIN/SYSTEM 32.

But don't download dlls directly, that is a very bad practice. Just install/reinstall/fix required visual c++ redistributale package. Also it should be in _Redist subfolder in game's folder.

Ryuu ... I downloaded the 2 dll from the internet. And good and bad I did not reinstall and uninstalled anything. Here it worked easy easy.
