Gamebreaking quest bug, cant progress thru story

Quest: The key of the necromancer
Bug: It just dropped 10 out of 11 amulets, i can not complete this quest thus not complete the "main quest" to find the necromonicrom book since it requires that key obtained from the bugged quest. I have ran thru the levels where the necromancers coffins are located countless times, counting all 11 coffins (so i have found them all) and ive been pressing enter to see if one amulet was invisible or something. Ive tried abandoning the quest but it wont reset the coffins, so im stuck with 11 opened coffins and just 10 amulets. Please help!

I have the same problem, i only have 10 amulets but 11 open coffins. Iheard somewhere that there should be a shop that sell missing items, but i haven't found it yet.

Had the sme problem, it's not a bug but a feature (for real)

Thieves have stolen the missing amulet. You need to lure them out and kill them until one of them drops a strange scroll which will teleport you to their hideout where you find every item they stole from you.

I doubt that since i was standing becide the coffins killing the skeletons that spawned, picking up everything dropped (since skeletons drop alot of nice stuff) but im gonna try that, just for the heck of it

Nope... i just raided their secret lair (or what ever) and found alot of stuff but alas, no black amulet, so its a bug.

Would be great if some gamedev or something could reply to this since its a pretty irritating thing.

Hello,

Enter in the place where the 11 coffins are (though a wooden door).
As you enter, go to the left until the end of the corridor.
Press ENTER.

Yeah that worked... thanks. But one has to wonder, was this intentional design or a backup incase there was a bug? Oh well, im happy now :)

Strange, I got 12/11 of it though...

Hmh I lost my mercuy, I assume a thief took it. I killed like 30+ of them but no amulet and no mercury. Problem is, they stopped coming. I put down gemstones and even my brimstone(other quest item) but they just don't appear anymore, even though I am on another level. I am not too close to the item or something, as I said I have some experience in killing them.. any ideas?

EDIT: saving, exiting, loading the game helps, they spawn again. One of them finally dropped my mercury, still no amulet though. Well I'm happy enough ;)

I inserted it for people that cannot recover their stolen pieces from Thieves.

one is in the shop where someone sells items for UN currency:) hes in south corridors as i remember? but tell me where i get other 10 amulets xD

I'm having trouble here too, I have only found one! I have gone to the thieves hideout, and gone to the hidden coffin, I've saved and reloaded, been everywhere numerous times, what am I supposed to do?

Haven't played for a while because of this. Done that, I'm missing way too many for that to help, any other suggestions? Do I just have to start again?

Spread over the 3 screens of the mausoleum are 11 coffins, holding 1 amulet each. IF you did open all coffins BUT left without grabbing all the amulets then go and check the thief's hideout.
