Were is the necronomicon?

I cant find it

In the room with the candles and the giant red sigil in the background (it's one of the room on the right of the mineshaft if you haven't found it yet). The same room with the guy who gives you the Orb of Rebirth. There's a hidden door between the fifth and sixth candles (or it might be sixth and seventh, can't quite remember).

and where to find skull key to take it? i dont know if i miss one or just need to play more to get this?

the skull key is a quest item given to you after you retrieve 10 necromancer necklaces from the necromancer guardians tombs. somewhere on the left of the catacumbs.

Thanks for the tip. I was looking in the wrong room -- I was looking in the room where you rescue the light spirit, because that also has a huge red mark in the background.
