Ring of Skies
Been searching a long time for a Ring of Skies.

It seems to me that any chest designated to hold a ring can hold any type of ring, so it should be able to drop anywhere. Can anyone confirm this?

Some people say it drops in Tryfids, some people say Search for Magic.

Anyone else know where they found theirs?

Well, I've got this ring in "treasure room" after 2nd boss. But I do remember that I've also get this ring in another dungeon, can't recall which exaxtly. So it may be random.

Random. Pretty much any ring chest from 2nd level onward can drop this ring.

I Just got ring of skies from the search for magic quest as well as the blue plate armor in the same run. Depends on luck I guess. I did it solo at level 7 which wasnt as hard as I expected. I scattered bombs around the floor and used triple shot spell on bow for the last boss and he went down pretty quick. Best to try it solo so you can grab everything for yourself :P

That's what I've been doing, thanks :D Probably done about 20 runs with no luck... sigh!

What's so great about it anyway? Some people have said it's an amazing ring to have. All it does it increase your jumping distance. I can't even notice the difference

It's really just a way to make the annoying jumps easier. Not really important, but it's nice to have.

The difference is about a half a step's worth of distance, but when you think about how many jumps the game requires that demand you be at maximum height to make it, BARELY, ring of skies starts to make a lot of difference really fast.
Hello, I've been searching for that ring for a friend, and we found it in the map "exploring a hole", you need the red key, so you need to play with someone, cause there's a gas tube. And I don't know if this matters, but I went there with a new character (level 4 in this dungeon) and we found it there, maybe is random, but I found it there, so I hope this helps you to find it :cubehappy:

This thread is 4,5 years old... but to have an accurate answer:
All the rings in "Unepic Dungeons" are random, meaning the best location to get random rings is at sherwood graveyard, wich have 4 rings in one run. As for the ring of skies, there are two "Official Dungeons" that have it, both requiring at least 2 players to get it.
The first is "The Key Master", in a relatively small room with spikes at the bottom, there's a small chest on a table and a lever to the left, to its right there's a 2 blocks size gap, so to get the ring, you need to have another player that already have the ring.
The second place is at "Wizard's Basement", at the treasure that requires the blue key.

Actually, another reason is because in the official maps, not the normal set MP maps, have secrets that require higher than normal jumps to access something. But, I will let you figure that out. :D
