Any spell/potion to prevent poison?
I'm getting my ♥♥♥♥ pushed in by that monster in the halls, the big medusa head. I forgot his name. It's ridiculously easy to get poisoned and I can't heal fast enough. Are there any spells or potions which temoporarily prevent you from getting poisoned?

Christ any tips for this boss? His dps is stupidly high
Poison Immunity requires seven points in Protection magic and I think I picked that tome up from the ghost tower shop...but try the shop in the halls just in case. Poison Reduction can be bought from the laboratory shop and requires a healing level of six; doesn't prevent it, but dramatically slows the damage.

So I'm boned basically. I have 1 protection magic and 3 healing, and don't fancy grinding.

Try to alternate between the top three platforms closest to the wall to avoid the burning rays. When I began the encounter, I spammed Death Cloud across the bottom level before running to the top platforms; the snakes fell apart as the bastard flew up to greet me. Once you've dealt with the snakes, focus on the eye and use whatever hits hardest until the ghosts start spawning. Keep a fire aura active to deal with the spooks and use the ice missile spell (ghosts are immune and won't intercept those attacks).

Damn, I keep trying and trying but it's borderline impossible. Can you actually kill off the snakes? I can dodge the poison fine, but then I don't have any time to deal damage... I don't have many spells, It's a melee/bow focusd character. Healing takes way too long to be usable in a fight situation.
I've got about 10 antidotes in case I get poisoned, but so what - if I try to drink one, I'll get hit by another poison missile. So frustrating.

If you've got a decent bow you should be okay, but I imagine it'll take a while. This reminds me of my frustrations with Neuron. This would be an excellent time to use the Orb if you've still got it.
Neuron was ok for me once I got hold of the pattern... At least he allowed to heal! This is crazy. I'm quite happy with my character and don't really want to respec... In fact I was going to use the respec for something else.

Yeah, you have to kill off the snakes before you can damage the central eye. Fireball only takes five points in fire magic, but eats through red powder. That said, it hits multiple targets and burns for a time. Speed and regeneration potions sound like your best bet instead of worrying about antidotes.
If you have ice block spell you can easily block the poison and just target its eye to kill it off.

Intredasting. Where can I get this spell?
The snakes themselves aren't very durable. The problem lies in their number, the strength of poison, and the ever present threat of Medeox's petrification beam. But yeah, you could probably, quite easily, take out the snakes, one shot each if you had time to shoot. (Bow mastery, and just spam arrows as Medeox rises to reduce the snakes some?)

I found a relatively safe spot under the top two floating platforms and used that respite to heal, but it only works when the head rises and starts torching everything with the rays. Thankfully, this spot falls just above its range. Unfortunately, the lower snakes can easily hit you there, so you'll have to finish those off before any rhythm can develop.
Also, ice block requires a significant investment in Frost magic, and you said you hadn't invested significantly in any magic.
I've got about 10 in fire, 4 in alteration and 3 in healing magic. I was going to respec into alteration as I stupidly pumped a lot of points into fire.
I'm kind of getting hold of the pattern... My last attempt, the tergeting system wouldn't work for some reason. It didn't last very long.
Invoke Ice Block's in the catacombs shop and requires level nine in ice.
