Drank my glass of water - Dagger of Adjanti

Hail to all you unepic folks out there.

I drank the water, now carry an empty glass with me and can not finish the quest.
I had no chance to fill the glass up again so far and the quest giver didn't refill it, old cheap
mistvogel!

Any suggestions how to solve my problem?

You're supposed to drink it and jump on the flames. That's what I did at least.

It's a reference to an old Eddie Murphy movie. People who never saw the movie probably drank the water right away. You're supposed to drink it right next to the dagger, then you can extract the dagger from the fire. If you drank the water away from the fire, you screwed up the quest and cannot get the dagger.

I remembered it from the movie, drank the water right away and had no problems with the flames.

I'm almost at the end and there was no need for the glass whatsoever but I keep it in Harnabank just in case.

thats true, but that dagger is strong enough to be used for a while before you find anything stronger to replace it.
