i loved this game and i never played this type of games before UnEpic..can you pls tell me what are the games on steam like UnEPic?---exploration, spell, inventory,fight,potion..i need more , pls help me!

Amazing Princess Sarah and LaMulana but don't know if are the same as Unepic..
help me to make a list of games like UE, pls.

rogue legacy, i'm afraid is ntohing like this gem...permadeth and start ovetr and over, no customization, not many item or inventory...not my type of game..i installed yesterday a valley without a ind...and seems very deep and big...maybe a little confusing me..need lot to learn how to play it..any opinion of A valley w\out the wind?? i'm just started the first chapter.

Look for "Maze of Galious". It is a japanese game, originaly released for MSX computers, but there is a remake for PC.

Unepic was inspired in that game, they mention it in their official website (Unepic's website).

I Still remember the first boss name you had to invoke from his gravestone: "Yomar"

It was a Giant green slime. Quite easy to beat, but in the 80's, having a boss like that could freak you out for sure. :-)

yes downloaded it...but it's to much old style for my taste.and permadath i really don't like.:( i'm playing valley without qwind and it isnt bad at all..a bit hard to learn..so many things and no italian subtitles :(

Try Magicians & Looters. It's probably the most similar game to Unepic out there (also with the humor) but it's a little too short (around 8 hours or less to complete it). Another one is Fortune Summoners. It's always a metroidvania mixed with rpg elements but it's peculiarity is the difficulty of the game, some kind of precursor of the Soul's series. The last metroidvania-rpg that I can remember from my experience is Dust: An Elysian Tail, probably the most action-oriented game from this list.
