axe, bow, armor, con, arcane
It is usually better to go healing over con, but once you get latent life con ends up being way better than healing. Potions also end up replacing healing and a few other magics.
The main things that should be leveing is:
- one primary weapon
- one secondary weapon that assists the primary weapon or does something that the primary weapon can't
- a magic that goes well with primary weapon
- armor
- potions
If you have spare or on higher difficulty
- get arcane till latent life
- get some con
- get alteration
Later you will reset out of potions and into actual skills, but having potions early is fun and allows you to use a wide range of resources and benefits.
For multiplayer:
Too many op builds to list :p. There are probably about 20 pics for different multiplayer builds on my profile, but if you need any progression builds just ask and I can assist.
I just started and doing Single player first. Out of the ur Single player list, I don't see the option to upgrade alt, fire, ice, or arcane. I do see staffs, wand, and potions, so not sure if u meant one of those 3 or not.
Ah i c. This game is pretty fun, before I knew it, it's 2am haha time to sleep.
Ended up picking sword and bow, abut regretting it now cause I got rly nice axe from a quest haha. I saw ur profile, and saw them hrs! I didn't know this game had that much replay-ability, guessing MP is going to be a blast haha.
Also are challenges worth it? Seen 2 so far but could not complete either. rushing through the traps got me killed and no good at dodging boulders lol
The challenges are worth it, but for your first run they should be of low concern. They aren't needed at all to complete the game, but the UN points for completing them will make harder difficulties easier. Many of the challenges will need a new file just to complete. Luckily, all UN earned transfers to all new files.http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=156434322
Multiplayer is quite a bit of fun as well as the editor. The only problem right now is the player base is starting to go down again, but Fran's next sale should fix that. This game hasn't been on sale since it left early access.
