Challenge questions, and rewards?
When doing finishing challenges you get X# of Un tokens.

My questions are these...
Q1. As they are shared across the board. Do the tokens spend across character. Ie: If I buy a dark amulet on Character A for 10Un. Do I lose 10Un on character B?

Q2. Do I gain these items across all characters? I buy a sword from a shop on Character A, and Its also in my inventory on Character B?

Sorry for the noob questions, and thanks for any help.

A1: No. Each characters can spend his UN credits as he wants to.

A2: No. Each characters get's only what he has bought.

What are fair things to buy? Short of the respec and spaceball pet I don't see much of intrest.

Spaceball is nice; the other pet is a funny idea, though not needed. I didn't buy the wands since they got charges.

I just started a new character in hard++ for the last 2 challenges I need to finish; he got Spaceball for tough spots like bosses and the Mummy wraps armor for +15 lifereg (he'll get at least healing 3 for regeneration, but the armor might be useful for the first half of the game).

Edit: I'm in the sewers right now and love the mummy wrappings at hard++ (and polearms for the distance). The worm was not one-hitted by my Spaceball; I guess that boss has about 2500 hitpoints.
Sometimes I use it as a meatshield (or Doomstar Shield ^^ ); sometimes it catches fireballs or orc attacks. Spaceball got many hitpoints (maybe 2000 himself?), so he can take a few blows.

Yeah I'm interested in Death Star/Spaceball and mummy armor just for those reasons.....finding that the challenges are near impossible missions though with more than 80 tries at the dodging rocks one don't know that I'm gonna try for any others

here's a challenge guide in the guide section; it will help unlocking and solving them.

I cursed at the dodging challenge, too; but it's incredibly unfair at the start of the game and gets much easier later. Having a speed buff (spell or several potions) helps dodging and one pet found in the halls can "stun" the boulders and reduce the number of falling rocks greatly (there can only be 4 boulders at the same time and stunned ones count towards this number).

You'll also need more than one character to finish them all (might be possible with one, but it's unlikely). For example: My first character unlocked all the challenges and my potions master collected 18 potions until he as at the catacomb boss. Then I respecced him and made "Death, lvl 1" with him. Another one skipped a few rooms, did not learn frost magic etc. and rushed through the game for the Crow challenge.

The former potions master was my backup plan for the long way to Minerary challenge, but my "Crow" char made it after finishing the Crow (my first char saved manually in the middle of the escord and ruined that run).

Can any of these be done co op? I'm at the point where I need black ink just so you know where I'm at in game
Dr.Disaster Jul 1, 2014 @ 6:32am
All challenges are single player only; there is no co-op in single player.

I'm finding it easyest to run all the non-Hard(++) challanges on easy. Though "A long way to Minerary" may actualy be harder on easy. I beleave the minions have less hp then on harder difficulties. So far I have The Crow, The Potion Collector, and the 2 Hard ones left. ^.^

"A long way to Minerary" is not harder on easy; you can make it much easier if you got healing 5 (and the "heal other" spell), something to run faster (the alteration spell or a few potions) and remembering that you are not allowed to save at the box while passing it - and doing it after turning in the quest ;)

I saved at the box and still got the challange completed. I did it yesterday. Also I was just mentioning that I think its harder. Only because the minions had (or seemed to have) less health.

Right now im on my way to try "Eye for an eye". I'm hopeing that with a maxed Fire/Healing Mage I can pull it off easy. ^.^
