Multiplayer Solo Guide
What can you solo?

As some people may not know, the multiplayer (co-op) mode in this game is almost a completely different game from the single player mode. Same engine but new items, new (and more) spells, and new dungeons. So, let's say that you want to play the multiplayer mode but you don't want to play with other player. How far can you get, solo? What content requires multiple players?

First off, there are multiple definitions of "solo". Multiple characters does not necessarily mean multiple humans. While some content does require multiple characters, as far as I can tell, *ALL* content can be completed by a single human willing to play multiple characters simultaneously (though I haven't checked everything yet). (Use the GOG version of the game if you want to play multiple characters simultaneously.) Since all content can be completed by one human with multiple characters, when I say "solo" in this guide, I mean one character.

Some other terminology for this guide:
A map is "Soloable" if you can reach the end of the level (beat the boss, get to the exit) with a single character.
A map is "Fully Soloable" if you can complete it while getting all secrets and treasures with a single character.
I don't have information about all of the dungeons yet, so I may be updating this guide when I know more.
Here we go!

Unepic Maps:

Dungeon of Satyrs - Fully Soloable. Dungeon can be completed, all secrets found and all treasure rooms unlocked

Search for the Magic - Fully Soloable

Exploring a Hole - Fully Soloable

Night of the Triffids – Soloable, but one of the treasure room keys requires 2 characters (at least, I haven't found a trick that gets me this key without a second character. Would need a way to hit the trigger remotely)

Sherwood Graveyard - Fully Soloable

Count of Monte Orc- Fully Soloable.
Marfolog says: you can freeze the prisoner with an ice breath spell and it will unfreeze once you change rooms, meaning you can get all keys solo.

Twilight – this level is the big block to playing UnEpic solo. This map requires 2 characters, but only at the very very beginning. All other content can be completed solo. That being said, while the boss does not *require* multiple characters inherently, I haven't been able to find a way to beat it without two characters. Once Twilight is beaten, a whole bunch of additional maps are unlocked. Remember: two characters does not mean two people. It can be beaten by one person playing both characters.
Finnmo says: Twilight is beatable as ice mage using stlag to do enough damage past it's healing and using enough acid potions (to summon the acid minion) to overflow the enemy limit so golems don't spawn

Official Maps:

A Quick Job - Fully Soloable

Bax Simbel Profanation - Fully Soloable

Midnight Wetwork - Fully Soloable

Witch's Tower - Fully Soloable, I think. There might be some secrets that I haven't gotten yet.

The Royal Tomb of al Sheder - Fully Soloable

Scabb Dungeon 1 - Fully Soloable

Scabb Dungeon 2 - Fully Soloable

Scabb Dungeon 3 - Fully Soloable

The Key Master – This map requires 2 for the dialog points.
Marfolog says: all puzzles can actually be soloed in this map, only things roadblocking you are the double dialog points.

Twilight Gated Maps:
Many maps, though soloable themselves, require Twilight to be completed which is not soloable. Once you get through Twilight, a whole bunch of new options open up.

Orcish Unfort - Fully Soloable

Ghost Armor Army – Fully Soloable
The dungeon can be soloed, but you need a means to get the first treasure room key. Without some kind of trick, you need 3 characters to unlock the first treasure room. Since this is the *first* treasure room, you get next to no loot if you complete the dungeon solo otherwise.
Marfolog says: you can activate the pipe pressure plates if you have a skeleton following you.

Veni Vidi Vici – this dungeon is actually two different dungeons, one for solo and one not. I believe that both branches give the same loot, so the only reason to visit the multiplayer branch is for fun and challenge.

War is Coming – requires 2 characters.
Guybrush says: War is Coming is gated for 2 players. You are stuck at the very start if alone. there are several places where you need multiple people, including fighting the final boss, and some secrets, albeit not very important, require 2 people

Wizard's Basement – Soloable., but the blue key requires two characters to get. Fortunately, the blue treasure room is separate from the others, so missing the blue key only locks you out of one treasure room.

Revenge of Darkness – Fully Soloable

Jungle Temple – Finnmo says: I have beaten jungle temple solo

Final Battle – don't know yet

Florent's House - Fully Soloable

The Tower – Requires 2 players. Haven't finished it yet, so don't have more info.

Nightmare Adventure – Soloable, but there are two rooms that have dialog points that require 2 player. I don't know what's behind them yet.

Big Tree Climb – soloable, but don't know more yet

Sea Invasion – don't know yet

Mind Problems – don't know yet, but it is gated by Key Master which cannot be soloed

Mr Threepwood,
Do you know if it requires multiple humans, or do you think that a single human playing multiple characters simultaneously could do it?

I think you can do the entire map with 2 accounts except for the boss.
The boss requires one player to dodge the bosses attacks, while the other goes on the room behind, does some light parkour and monster dodging. Doing both at the same time for a single person switching screens would prove very difficult. I guess it is not impossible, but almost.

You can also completely cheese the boss by using javelin throw skill

I have found a couple cheese-able bosses like the Orc Leader and the one from Revenge of Darkness.

ile ja sie kurwa nakobinowałem by zagrać mapki multi, solo a oto rozwiązanie (banalne) wchodzimy do folderu głównego z grą i zmieniamy nazwe omaps na maps i gra widzi mapki multi jako twoje i można normalnie rozegrać w scenariuszach wybieramy own maps poza 4 mapami bo by te mapy rozpocząć to trzeba 2 gracza krótko mówiąc macie extra 18 map 9 dla 1 gracz 9 na multi ale solo sie da według opisu mapy Twilight .The tower .The key master. Mind problems .War is coming najlepiej usunąć z folderu bo i tak sie nic niezrobi bez 2 osoby
działa tylko na pirackiej wersji gry

How on earth am I supposed to kill the gurk eye in "Search for the Magic"
Because counting the seconds between the times the eyes comes up is nonsense since the wikies themselves say the timing is random.
It works. I have done it many times. And I can do it it in the first few tries if I practice the timing. The first time I do it after not doing it for awhile it takes me many tries, but once you get the timing, you've got it.

If it's random, it only varies by a small amount. I watch it for a few cycles to see the timing, and then I go for it. Have a melee weapon equipped and walk off the side. Start swinging before you reach it so you are in the middle of the swing when you get to it.

Yeah I know, I managed to do it in a couple tries shortly after posting this comment

May be very late to this but,
Twilight is beatable as ice mage using stlag to do enough damage past it's healing and using enough acid potions (to summon the acid minion) to overflow the enemy limit so golems don't spawn
I have beaten jungle temple solo

It is not too late. i'm still watching this post

Do you have any tips on soloing Jungle temple?

Jungle temple is not THAT hard to solo, there are harder soloable maps. JT is just a big stat check, you need to have a good build with high % items and overall a good set of endgame uniques. I would say fire/ice mage is a good pick for most of the map, for the catacombs you can change into something for crowd control.
