Stuck at the mage tower

I’m in a room with 4 shielded mages. I can put them to sleep but I can’t reach them with any of my spells/attacks. I only have fire/frost bolt. Unfortunately I build my character as a warrior so I don’t have points in magic. Also I spent the madness scroll in the previous room so the skeletons would attack the mages. I’m super stuck here. Help

You can use arcane level 1 spell to controll skeletons, right when they summon one. This way the skeleton will be on the same platform as mage and will attack him. Another solution would be tactically put them to sleep, right before their shield wears off and shoot them

That worked, thanks! I had to level up a bit because I had 0 in arcane, but that did the trick. I should had create a more balanced character. My bad
