NBA 2K24 Launch Issue

Hello,

I'm experiencing an issue with launching NBA 2K24 on my gaming rig, and I'm seeking some assistance. Here are my system specs:

- CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X
- RAM: 32GB
- GPU: RTX 3080
- OS: Windows 11

The problem I'm encountering is that when I click "Play" for NBA 2K24 in my Steam library, nothing happens. The game doesn't start, and I can click "Play" again with no effect. I've tried several troubleshooting steps, including verifying game files and reinstalling Steam and game , but the issue persists.

If this helps, I almost have a similar rig. Just change the RTX 3080 to a 3070 one. I am able to play the game, but my issue lies with game crashes. I don't know if it the two issues are connected. My drivers are all updated. Maybe we are all just looking for some updates because this happens every damn year on launch

what worked for me, is go to your library right click 2k24 go to propitiates installed files and verify the files

1) Uninstall the game
2) Uninstall Steam
3) Important: delete the Steam folder in program files with any leftover files / folders
4) Install Steam
5) Install game
