If you want to discuss any cheating issues in the game, this is the place to do it.

Just remember that naming and shaming goes against Steam's Code of Conduct, so anyone throwing accusations around will be reprimanded accordingly. This includes screenshots with player names. Please report cheaters to 2K Support.

A reminder that discussion on how the cheating is done is also against the rules. Even if everyone supposedly knows how to do it, don't spread it here for those who actually don't.

Anti-Cheat?

I heard they tested some kind of anti cheat in 2k23. If they did add anti cheat to pc would u guys cop (once on sale)? the game was 10$ for 2k23 and i had 0 interest.

No anticheat at all. Hard skip every year no matter the sale.

They'll never add anti-cheat because it costs money and PC dont make enough sales on PC to cover the cost...because of the no anti-cheat and last gen versions. Next gen version with anti-cheat would make a ton of money on pc.

Other people always start threads asking about cheating. I just force it all into a single thread with a uniform opening post.

@Mamba. How much money do they have to make off of a game to cover the cost for anti-cheat ? Rather than just stating something you either think you know is true or are just pandering why not actually build upon your statement rather than just declaring to us that they don't make enough to add some kind of anticheat. If they don't make enough money on the game then surely you know how much money they make and how much it would take in order to get anti cheat.

I see 32,500 reviews for NBA 2k23 PC alone. Sounds like you don't really know much about what you're talking about. Yes consoles are going to sell more copies of the game as the target audience mostly has consoles. This makes sense. But to just declare that the company doesn't make enough money is kind of ludicrous.

This game has packages for 59.99, 79.99, 99.99 and I think even 149.99. Not to mention all of the virtual currency packages they sell. Just stop already.
