Are you supposed to be able to eradicate Skin Bandits?
I've killed Savant, but the Skin Bandits didn't seem to get the memo. There's still fully populated Skinhouses (or were until I went and manually cleared them all out) and, more annoyingly, roaming platoons being generated. I know this, because I deleted all their platoons and some more popped up. Is this intended or a bug? If it's a bug, is there any good way of stopping the faction from creating new platoons? They're good for training, but the way they sprint off with your fallen NPCs is extremely annoying.

When Savant is dead, their bases are supposed to be destroyed or taken by the Southern Hive, and their patrols should stop spawning. Have you checked their HQ to make sure that Savant is still dead? Are you using any mods that might alter world states?

I checked the HQ and also searched my platoon files, Savant is definitely gone. That said, I destroyed the Southern Hive first. Would that maybe interfere with it?

That might account for the patrols still spawning. I'm not as familiar with how that works.

With both factions dead, all of the Skinhouses should be destroyed, though. Have you left the general area of the Skinhouses since killing Savant? Town overrides don't take effect until you've gone far enough that the town is unloaded.

Also might be worth checking your world states to confirm that the game actually considers both of them dead.

Hmm, it does seem to have bugged somehow, re-importing it (with dead NPCs checked) reincarnated Savant. Well, that answers that at least. Guess it's time to put my best assassin to work again.
Good way to farm meitou sword I presume 😅?
