Kenshi
I accidentally killed Seta. Help needed.
I didn't kill Seta, I caged him for a bit, and let him go. He ran back the way he came.

When I checked the world state in reactive world mod, the skelly said he is not okay. Now all HN raid stopped.

Anyone can make a mod that fix this glitch?

Best I can make out, kidnapped NPCs actually need to get back to their home bases before the game will consider them "free" again.

I can't see how a mod could "fix" this, short of making the raids happen regardless of what's going on with your world states. Possibly you might be able to find him and escort him the rest of the way. If you're very lucky, if you send someone into his fortress then he may just reset back to his throne on the spot.

I think it's rather more likely that you'll need to import if you want him and the HN raids back, though.

I am contemplating an import with all dead npc since I have not killed anyone important, just this stupid Seta but I saw him ran off which in retrospect did not mean nothing : )

Anyway to revive Seta without a full import?

I suppose if you saved a new game, you could then simply copy/paste all of its HN platoon files back into your older one. Obviously if this works then it'll "revive" more than just Seta, but I'm guessing that won't be a problem for you. If it is then you may need to pinpoint the particular platoon he's in.

You cant fix that easy, because Seta triggers world states.
Reload an old save is the only way I can think of.

I failed to revive Seta. First, I import using the revive dead npc option, then I ran to Stack and entered the throne room of Seta and saw him, then I made a save there. Save made this way will generate holy nation platoon files.

But after I copied the platoon files to the save that I did not want to use import, the world state checker still said Seta is not okay. Seems the platoon files cannot help in this case.

Anyone has any further idea?

You asked how to revive Seta, and I'd expect that resetting his platoon files would've accomplished that.

If you actually wanted to restore the old world state, then like Synopse, I'm not aware of any way to pull that off without an import. My expectation would be that you can't.

To revive via platoon copying you need to have a platoon with the NPC alive and a platoon into which to revive the NPC roughly in the same place (coordinates worldwide) so that when you copy a "new" platoon onto an old one, it still spawns at the same place... Err... Dunno... Maybe my explanation is too vague...

So it is kind of tricky to respawn him if his base is gone...

He is revived, but a changed world state cannot be affected simply by reviving the guy using this crude way.

I'd say the "World State" does change, but Towns flipped due to him being temporarily "not okay" most likely do not have conditions to flip back.
