Also, there is a way to edit the save files to increase your relations, but that is very involved. But there are tutorials for that as well.
The mods are probably the easiest as they have the start with a character that is usually already allied with the Tech Hunters or is a Tech Hunter. :)

So, make a copy and then edit it and see if it does something you like. As for the article, there is 15 cheats it lets you do, one of them is to change relations with other factions, instantly. Just be careful and do each step as described. Not difficult after you have done it once or twice.

Anyway, take care and learn alot and have fun and enjoy the game. I think Kenshi is the best game I have ever played, it has everything, and you get to roam the desert with your dog and pals too. :)

If one is mid-game and having issues, adding a customized start won't help you, as one needs to start a new game to use a start.
