Where are all the hat shops now?

Ha, I've been wondering about this. I've had a bit of a hard time finding hats for people, just gotta get lucky with looting someone or hire npcs that already have good hats. I haven't tried that crafting path yet, might be possible to make them, but I just hired someone to be my armor smith.

You can make straw hats with the leather armor work bench, so I'm hoping more will unlock that way and with the metal armor related benches too.

Straw can be made on cloth station as well as badanas basicly only one ones I seen minus taking on off an npc. Oh you got to buy the hat, I forgot who sold it to me...

I've never found a single hat shops in Beta. If you miss old shops badly - look into mods section, I've updloaded one yesterday it adds a Dead Cat town to the map wich has a Dead Cat hats vendor.

I still haven't found a hat shop but while thieving a safe at police station I found a bucket zukin blueprint so thats something.

There is a single UC hat trader at an unmarked little town in the NW corner of the beta area by the coast, he has 50k cats but doesn't actually sell any hats.

Good to know. Though would feel like an exploit right now since there is so little content on that area. Once more areas of the new map open this will change I guess.

You can occasionly find some pieces of clothing/hats/armour which are unobtainable from shops either on other characters (by looting them) or in containers.

e.g. I've found a black chain mail in the Ninja's tower chests.
