Junk Bow/Toothpick skill requirement?
Being that the Junkbow and Toothpick are considered the beginner crossbows, why is it they have one of the highest "required skill" to use at 90? Wouldn't logic dictate that these would not take as much skill? Or perhaps this is a typo that never got fixed? Screenshot[i.imgur.com]

I did wonder about that myself, tho think they only considered best due to fire rate.

That said, it be nice if the tooltip listed rate of fire base

Prolly for effectiveness but I wouldn't worry about it. I still start with eagle cross on characters having 0 skills, they still leveled up anyway, prolly not as fast as junk bows.

That "skill required" basically shows what skill level you need for base 100% accuracy. Not very useful info as accuracy has a few other modifiers ;]

that is what is required to get the best reload speed out of it. a higher required skill doesn't make a better crossbow. the fact that they are the cheapest and more common on weak bandits doesn't make them the better 'starter' crossbow.

the easiest bow to use at full effectiveness is the ranger. followed by the spring bat and old world mark I. then mk II and eagle cross. last place is the toothpick.

but that doesn't mean you can't use any of them with a level 1 character. it just means the reload speed will be closer to the higher end for that bow.

This.

I feel the choice of words from the devs was poorly chosen :) You can use a crossbow at any time, even at 0. You're going to be bad tho, obviously.
