How to level up assassination?
Hello I tryed to level up by standing behind guy, and knocking him out, while he does not see me from stealth. With blue marker.
I got low skill like 9. It always says Failed (NO XP) and I get no XP.
How does one level up assassination? What am I doing wrong that I get no XP?

you have to take the % chance of it working in mind, I suggest you start with low level characters like hungry bandits
if they are high enough level, you won't get any xp for failing

Find a police station, and start knocking down the inmates. Failure will give you xp don't worry.

No, you just need to wait for them to wake up, and then repeat the process. Do this to all caged units, even the slaver boss does not mind you knocking down his prisoners.

No after first knockout even if it fails I can no longer knockout that particular person in cage. :/ I did it on people I put there. I found some dust bandits mugged them. Put them in police station cages and knock them out.

I'd go to the Floodlands & try it on the skeletons there. Also the ones en route to the Armor King. Every time i failed it will go up fast. However you got to be able to run fast coz they will chase you.

It does seem silly but robots are basically the same as any other race except they don't eat and healing them is more efficient. Like how the hell does a machine become stronger as it carries heavy stuff around? How does it become tougher? Who put a reset switch on the back of their heads?

Maybe they are some kind of fusion organism, with organic tissues underneath their skelly shell, so they could grow with training...

game developer wanted to make skeletons different in that their stats were going to be leveled up through upgrading parts, but it was changed because they couldn't figure out how to do it

Then you are right back to needing to eat again

You can train assassin on Greyflayers in Grey Desert. Even Mad Cat-Lon would boost your assassin skills greatly. Right click repeatedly and fast on targets to add up points.
