Question about Eyegore

So, Eyegore attacked my outpost and my turret gunners took him down, but I didn't capture him, he didn't die and ran away after waking up.
A few days later my outpost got attacked by UC again, saying that they were sent to kill me for taking down Eyegore. Later I also visited Spring, and the Anti-Slavers praised me for defeating him.
However, since he did not die and I did not capture him, is he actually still alive somewhere? Can I go to him? Can he attack my base again? Most NPCs are located somewhere in the world, but what about Eyegore? Can he only spawn for a raid?

After raids I sometimes see a couple of people get up and run away and then they'll collapse again and die a few hundred metres away as their wounds deteriorate.

It's quite possible that the same thing happened to Eyegore and I just didn't notice it. But he's very tough, and wasn't that badly hurt. I did take his weapon and armour though, so maybe something finished him off while he was retreating.

I doubt Eyegore assault can happen more than once if Eyegore is still alive or not captured. Eyegore cannot be found anywhere nor station at a base except for his raid toward your base spawned from nearest UC city. I always captured Eyegore by stealth knock out before his assault force arrived so my turret guys don't kill him by luck. He's useful for martial arts training tho.

Eyegore cant die of his wound technically, if he is not dying actively, his endurance is set so that he will naturally regenerate his wounds if not hit
He might have bled out if he lost a limb or some
