Padded, sneaky chain and reinforced gear could use a look at
It seems as though these pieces of gear have been overlooked during the rebalance, the padded pants for example have a staggering 8% blunt resist, and other items like reinforced cargopants only have 30% cut efficiency, not to mention absolutely none of them have any skill effects.

It'd be nice if those could get a look at, especially due to how few pants there actually are to choose from.

Another weird item is the Ashlander Hat, which suffers from the same issue in terms of blunt damage, 3% at specialist, it may aswell have none.

shouldn't the balance come from the lack of penalties? I just feel that some penalties are too irrelevant. Maybe more of the higher tiered armor should get more attack speed penalty. its just harder to swing often in a big armor. So that padded stuff is more for effensive roles.

Thing is the Samurai clothpants are better in every ways than all of those sneaky chain / padded / reinforced pants in terms of overall defense and cut efficiency, while also having no stat penalty and also having 50% stomach coverage.

So something needs to be changed at least on the damage reduction side of things for those.

Yeah due to the fact that pretty much nothing armour wise protects the stomach it makes samurai cloth pants pretty damn good.

I start to believe some clothes only purpose is to add some flavour to the NPC's and how they look like. otherwise they have no further purpose. maybe we need a skill that a character can increase if havign uncovered parts and him lerning to protect those parts better. by either blocking the hit with a part that is covered, or simply dodging.
