or do you mean for the dogs to just eat off the limbs? cause that would be hillarious :)
I mean just eating the limbs off of enemies you have already killed/downed. Npc bone dogs will already eat your limbs off and play with them. It would be nice if your dogs they acted the same way and didn't rely on random dismemberment. Doesn't even have to be with unconcious/dying enemies (but I don't see why not) just the dead ones would make me happy!
I can agree with that, I have a feeling it's on it's way!
You actually can have animals rest in beds to heal faster, there are even animations for them going to sleep. It's buggy though, you have to have another character pick them up and place them in the bed, and have a character pick them up to get them out of bed. They won't leave the bed themselves.

On a serious note, most of the animal stuff was pushed as luxury feature, so it may, or may not happen.
