Bonedogs in squad "eat alive" option/eating dead enemies limbs
It would be really nice if you could have you bone dog eat downed enemies limbs like the NPC dogs do. It would be a nice perk since they have x2 hunger, if you get in a lot of battles then they wouldn't be eating all your food. If we had an "Eat Alive" option then we could take revenge on attackers and cripple them. Just an idea, thought it might not be too hard to impliment since the NPC dogs already do this!

do you mean eat to kill? that would mean you could kill any downed enemy even if they are just knocked out.. i don't think the devs will go for that..

or do you mean for the dogs to just eat off the limbs? cause that would be hillarious :)

Your dogs can eat lost limbs already, not while they're still attached though lol ;o)

I mean just eating the limbs off of enemies you have already killed/downed. Npc bone dogs will already eat your limbs off and play with them. It would be nice if your dogs they acted the same way and didn't rely on random dismemberment. Doesn't even have to be with unconcious/dying enemies (but I don't see why not) just the dead ones would make me happy!

There's actually a crap ton of stuff I want them to work with animals. From organizing their stats so show only stats they can actually use (Dog with a Katana?), animal beds to heal faster, training methods for animals to raise their stats, mounts, armor, animations, dialogue interactions, with other squadmates, etc.

You actually can have animals rest in beds to heal faster, there are even animations for them going to sleep. It's buggy though, you have to have another character pick them up and place them in the bed, and have a character pick them up to get them out of bed. They won't leave the bed themselves.

They said there will be no possible way for the player to kill a NPC on purpose (expect animals). The best way is to have the slider to the max, or bash them over and over with a sharp weapon.

Hey, it's 2018, don't judge !

On a serious note, most of the animal stuff was pushed as luxury feature, so it may, or may not happen.
