when the slaves rebelled, things were destroyed. the power generators could have been in one of the broken buildings. although i supposed they do have electric lights, so that is odd.
You didnt read what i said, even if it is a ruins, there are no ruined power sources. Even the hub has ruined wind generators even though it has nothing there that uses or used power at all. therefore, its a developer oversight in the design of the town.
However.. the items I take, even though they are grayed and not actually owned by anyone, they say in their desctription that they are owned by the monster in the lab, and if I try to sell the items at he stores in MOURN that I am attempting to fence the items and if I get caught the people attack me and call me a thief.
I just gave a possible explanation as to how an oversight could have happened.
Also: talk to the barman. He will tell you not to go into the old faction hq. If you sell things from the old faction hq, you are showing that you went into a locked building that they REALLY didn’t want you to unlock.
The items are listed as belonging to the ape because he is assigned as the sole resident of that building. It isn’t an oversight, it’s just the way the game works. Maybe they could and should be red though. I’ve never really taken a close look at ownership rules in the editor though. I know that isn’t the only instance of a buildings items not being red when they should. A prime example is the storage building of holy farms. This may be an oversight or a result of the game not being able to assign ownership if there is no resident to own them. I’ll try to remember to take a look at it.
