did you notice you doing anything in particular? i just had it happen again from an import, can't remember what it started from the other times. didn't think about minimizing tho so it's gotta be something to do w/ the active window and not just the program running
Dont know if it'll work for others but I explain if for any future player experimenting this.
First I have to launch the game with the V-sync option activated.
When I'm on the main menu, I press alt + tab, wich switch on my steam window, then I go back on kenshi and the screeching sound is gone.
I really have to do theses two things, if I do just one the sound remain.
Tbh I was going to refund it because the sound is too annoying, now I can finally try this game
