I have a 2500 bounty with uc, I was picked up by a conscript in bast who said I would be punished. It has been 15 in game days and I'm am still just being carried around bast with no option to escape or do anything.

hire a few groups of mercenaries and whack the guy carrying him, grab and run lol

I have only one character in this playthrough, and as mentioned above that character is not exactly capable of hiring mercs atm.

I just had this issue as well the other day. I was in a holy nation town (forgot what its called its north of hub but isnt stack since im pretty sure stack doesnt have a jail) I was turning in my character for a bounty (he got a 3mil cat bounty for stealing a paladin cross off of a dead paladin) and when the slave traders came by to pick me up he just stood there in place for 3 days straight carrying me. It also happened to me in Squin one of the gaurds picked me up and stood in place for days without putting me down. I've tried reloading the game and it still keeps me on the gaurds shoulder. Because I was in a group I was able to free myself but this is beyond ridiculous if you have a solo character

Might try selecting your char, save, import, reset squad positions...only thing I can think of besides start over.

Same thing also happens occasionally when turning in a bounty to police chiefs, especially if they are dead.
They take the body/bounty and stand there, and after that point, you need to manually dump any other bounties in cages.
(Plus I have noticed that dead bodies are not removed from cages right now, is this intended?)
