Crab cant leave Crab Town

just bought myself a crab from crab town and when I go to leave everyone walks out the front gate and onward. but my crab will come to a dead stop about 10 feet out of the front gate. I've tried everything as far as micromanaging his movements if there's some terrain hes stuck on but nothing seems to work, he simply wont leave the town

wow i didnt even think that was possible, he's so big i assumed that wasnt a thing. but it worked lol
