How do you join the army?
How to you join a faction or join the army?

Oh alright thanks! And if your going to build a town make sure its really clouse to a default city because its good trading i have on myself.

At the moment no you can't join the army. All dipolmatic options are very limited at the moment. Waiting for a diplomacy update still.
All you can do with a faction is sell them stuff or go to war with them.
When you select bandit leaders in the bottom left panel of your screen it will show if they have a bounty on them.
To get more followers you have to go to bars in towns and then hire recruits there.
