Problems opening Forgotten construction set

so as this state's I'm trying to open it and all it does is says "It stopped working" well clearly it never started so i'm pissed that it lied to me in the first place but doubly pissed because I want to mod my armor and get my crew pimped out. Any help is greatly appreciated.

anyone have any ideas as to why we can't open our forgotten construction set i verified the cache and everything it still doesn't open.

It is a know bug, right now chris is focusing on gameplay bugs in game and hasnt gotten around to knocking out the kinks in the contruction set. The only current fix is to reinstall the game. if you want to keep you games save be sure you copy it out of you programfile and put it back in after the reistall. If probleum persists it maybe a pathing issue so make sure your Kenshi polder is located in your steam file.

it did persist i''ve uninstalled about 3 times now and it's still going on and i'm sure the pathing to the steam folder is fine because all of the other steam games i have are in there as well

Same problem here, right when i start up its saying it. it was working just yesterday so im a little confused..

hmmm well Im confused too, all I can say is go to the kenshi bug reporting forum and ask Chris he might have had this come up before. Sorry that didnt work for you.

Chris is usually really good on his bug fixs but just give him time.

yea that second link i've been too it all seems so good i just can't open it it doesn't take away from my awesome game but at the same time i kinda want my crew to be ninja like since i can't make armor or clothing yet thank you for your help

you dont need to open the constuction set to run premade mods. just goto the modders forums and pull them off there and put them into your kenshi folder as it explains in the tutorial. just make sure to anotate the mod in the mod.csv file. with the last update some changes were made to the constuction set and not all old mods still work but there are still plenty that do like the starwars.mod has grown alot over the last year and has more people working on it than the actual game.

sure but i didn't want to completley overhaul my game i simply wanted to make my 15 or so people have the same looking armor i love the base kenshi and maybe in the future would think about running around (with a lightsaber) but atm i just really wanted to make my lil faction an actual faction

all I can say is wait for Chris to fix it. What OS you running of you dont mind my asking? Doubt it makes a differance but if yoiur are doring something stupid like a windows 95 clone on an SSD inside a linux system that just happened to be contained in a fish tank. [saw some kid at school with proff of concept one ther other day blew my mind]
