If not cool, but this topic about outposts sort of let me mention it. :)
When I deleted 'Your Outpost' it deleted the base information of several bases I had around the map. The buildings are still there but the map marker and more importantly the Town Screen e.g. panel that shows battery power etc. is gone for all the bases. Originally when I would try to build a new building the game would crash. After verifying local files it will allow me to build but starts the outpost over i.e. the old buildings in the base are not associated with the new base even if I build something right in the middle of the town.
Question: I have a separate save from a couple of days prior which 'Your Outpost' is working correctly. Is it somehow possible to bring this 'Your Outpost' into my current save?
Same buildings, no new buildings, characters have just traveled the world a bit and I'd like to save that progress while getting my base to function again, if possible.
Not sure what other impacts importing this file will have on the game.
....so far okay.
