Why not open your media player and play your own music? There are also playlists on YouTube. Just let the browser running in the background while playing. Don't forget to turn off the ingame music.

i could but i don't have any good battle music. Also, my toaster of a laptop is having a hard time as it is just running the game, a browser on the background takes extra resources away from the game.

the music files in this game are very difficult to replace not sure that is even possible. Youtube music is your alternative

Honestly I was playing Rust recently and the soundtrack made me think of Kenshi. Not Kenshi's soundtrack, but Kenshi.

Battle music for Kenshi? I could suggest Unlucky Morpheus or anything by Undead Corporation or Kishida Kyoudan & The Akeboshi Rockets. Any kind of Touhou metal or rock music is good too like Sound Holic, Shibayan Records, EastNewSound etc. It's all Japanese so it suits Kenshi very well.
