He's definitely in the hub coz I've tried it, you probably need to import your game if you havent done it after installing it.

Importing the game is from the MAIN menu. You have to quit the game first coz the game doesnt have option to exit to menu. Leave everything as is if you dont understand what to do. It basically start a new game to refresh the game world but carry your whole progress at its default setting.


You should look for an NPC with Reporters as his faction name. He can be wandering around or in the bar (in The Hub)

This is an example if an npc is detected as DEAD. Stubs Momuso in my game is dead. Probably killed by spider or other npc since he spawns in Swamp area and this place is a warzone.

If your Beep is alive then he must still be somewhere , but if your Beep is dead you will have to import but untick the carry dead npc so they will be alive again, but that's like resetting the whole dead npc in the game.

I made the news reporter mod. A news reporter can be found in major towns: the Hub, Admag, Heft, Heng, Mourn, Mongrel, Shark, Stoat, Sho-Battai, Stack, Trader's Edge and World's end. He sits usually in a bar, but can patrol around on the mornings. He can sit upstairs too. And if you have more than one bar, you kinda need to check them all.

But in this case the reporter just would be able to say if Beep is alive, not how to recruit him.

Nice, so he's still alive. Importing with default setting won't revive him if he is already dead, just return him to where he should be in the game. So he's still alive in your game before importing.

In Mongrel, if you can't find Beep and wonder if he has spawned, you can check the Dialogue log. Beep will beep from time to time while wandering in town. If you find him making loud beeps however, it's time to check the nearby deathyards ASAP.
