I vote for Genesis because i know the name and migth have tried it once but forgot about it.
UWE is also good. If you're looking for more immersion, I'd go with this. I don't remember anything being out of place.
The two do not conflict.
I carefully selected my 300 mods by hand.
This
UWE did much better.
So i would vote for UWE i always use with Reactive World and crap ton of other mods
Genesis's author/ team has no idea what Kenshi is all about and it's pushing it beyond the limits now. Yet more junk is getting crammed in every update.
I have not used either of these overhauls, but after I'm tired of my current play through (may take a while yet) the description of Genesis sounds like a progression or growth of the settlements and population into the future, beyond vanilla. At that time I may try it and form my own opinion, but until then will keep an open mind.
Meanwhile I enjoy a near butter smooth experience at max game speed when needed without a huge visual impact running greater than vanilla visuals while also filling the world with more content. None that add god mode gear, unlike Genesis that breaks balance (but enemies with tougher stats is fine, imo).
