How can i convert an enemy town building to my faction?
i THOUGHT it was as simple as "Shift + F12, find the statue that marks this town as a settlement, delete it, build your own structure, all the buildings switch to your faction now."

but apparently that's not the case. When i save and re-load, the settlement i conquered has it's "statue" back, and won't let me build in it.

Am i doing something wrong? or would i need to manually delete and re-build every structure?

You cannot take vanilla towns like that, they are protected by the engine, The only way to own a NPC town is to use a mod like this: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1759401783

well balls, i was really hoping to take over that keep too. And i've got reactive world, so "take over the world" isn't going to help as the two aren't compatible.

Is there a way to completely remove it by any chance? so i could just re-build it from scratch maybe?

Huge missed opportunity if not, feels like such a waste letting all those structures crumble and go unused the moment it's unloaded.

Most vanilla towns and very often also modded towns have an override written in them. Meaning some other faction may take it over after the previous faction has been dealt with.

Yeah, fogmen in this case, so the whole place becomes a ruin. it's the holy nation military fort just next to the foglands. i was hoping to take it over.

Well bugger, there goes an hour and a half of my day then, that's a shame.
