Kenshi
How to level stats at start of game when solo?
I keep getting killed are there any places that you can train without getting kill all the time i heard there are dummies you can use but I also hear you can't use them without risking making people upset with you useing them is there a way to use them by paying to use them?

Get your numbers up while scavenging off dead bodies to make a profit and to arm yourself so you can start fighting enemy npcs. Fighting other npcs is the main way to level up combat stats in Kenshi other than using training dummies. Just make sure to stock up on meds and repair kits before getting into a fight.

Best area to scavenge is near a town gate. The guards will usually kill a hostile animal or bandits, take advantage of this to get yourself kitted with gear as well as make money.

You could also get yourself enslaved. Being a slave is the best way to level up toughness, sneak and lockpicking since it is hard to die as a slave because the slavers patch you up after they beat you up. Strength too if you lug around heavy objects until you are encumbered.

The best way to level toughness is the pealer. Or letting your guys get partially eatin by fogmen, spiders, and beakthings before rescuing them. But by far the fastest is the Pealer. You don`t even have to make them lose limbs. Just get them down low, take em off, let em heal, repeat.

True if you are experienced in the game. I am guessing the op is still a newbie so stuff like "the peeler" and getting eaten by fog people/wildlife will just sound like kenshi jargon.

I would also advise against toughness training on beakthings on vanilla kenshi when you just started a new game. Beakthings are insanely fast and it would be impossible to run away from them.

35 mph yes, ur char with extemly high ahtletics get up to 24-25, anything higher is only really doable with good scoutlegs.

i would argue thats one of the only cybernetics u kinda wanna get on ur main char because of the blunt cyber dam and such, meaning that if u get ur cybernetics crushed they kinda junk for a long long time wen they not cut down.
atleast for beginners.

a really good and safe way in vanilla is the black desert or the dead lands.
latter with acid protection.
shoes off and or cloths.

and dismemberment to frequent from rare. (i like to play on rare still so i change it back down)
and just wait still ur legs fall off.
get in my case 2 masterwork scouts and one pair stealthlegs (or any other leg set spec or master)

switch them out as u need them or mid combat incase u get crushing dam and need to get the ♥♥♥♥ out.

A character with 30+ attack/defense can take on 1-2 beakthings. They attack so slow that it is rare for people not to block it unless its got an attack of 50+ which they do not they have an attack of 35 or so. But not only that, you also do not need to be very fast due to the long attack time, all you need to do is zig-zag and they will never hit you. and in vain where i assume you would do this at start. There is never a hive village too far off.

One or too bad hits on ur legs can ez kill u.
That's the problem.
Sure you can make it less likely, but idk.

The chances to fu k that up are still pretty decent to not say high.

Beak things will hit u, and they will bodyblock u.

Pay attention and weave, only attract one at a time too. Don`t go too far from a hive village. All of this works trust me. I have 720 hours and have done it more then few times.
We can't talk about a noobie and at the same time assume he is gonna play perfectly.

Because if u wanna take like that difficulty in this game is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke, if u abuse everything you can.

Like idk stealthy and steally ninja type dude?

Make 150k every run simply robbing the black desert city robo trader of all his klr and master stuff and hire every merc and recruit u can think of.
Took me 100 hours to find that.

Difficulty is only there as long as u don't know things or restrict urself.

Go and dl one of the dozen mods on the workshop that legit make a *ez* game even more ez giving u workstations to brain dead train ur skills to 50 and more.

Hire 20 shek and have ur thief empty every food cube out of every bar u can find and get a pack beast and maybe 2 medics.

Bravo u just made a force that can solo the entire game.

Boring.

Dude, calm down. The least you can do is assume he know how to move around, jeez...

When dealing with new players, it's best to assume nothing. When I coached in League of Legends, I had people who had no idea what attack moving was.

I use Shek as training dummies, I'm pretty sure they would rather fight me than just sit in a cage.

To actually answer your question. You can pay a one time fee of 10K cats the the thieves guild for free use of their beds, training stuff, plastic doc, and -50% tade on the black market (Look for the guy/gal with the black backpack.)

Or you can research and build your own training stuff.
If you want to play out a solo run, it's actually satisfying and perhaps game breaking in a way when you begin to know ways to get strong efficiently.
First things first, you're dying quickly all the time, even a slight cut makes your limb strip out of you... what you do? ... Exactly the opposite of what you were doing.
Get blunt attacked, wake up among enemies from 'playing dead', get your toughness yeeted to enormous levels and watch as your life in Kenshi begins to look like bloodbath simulator.
Now, to go with some weapon of choice, or without? There are many weapons to choose from, many very effective in their specific areas, for example desert sabre in Skimmer bloated sands, or naginata for simply slicing through huge flocks of animals like hot knife on butter.
I have soft spot for polearms. Large reach and low weight makes these weapons fun. Downside is that they don't work very well with well armed humans.
Martial Arts are way overpowered when leveled well, aside with teamwork of toughness and strength it can kill a foe of any kind in blink of an eye. Of course martial arts are not without faults. Its defence relies really heavily on dexterity and dodge as much as weapons with defence and dexterity. Even with high dex and toughness you're likely to have trouble dealing with quick enemies that have short attack framerate.
There's a lot of weapon styles to choose from. It is all about trying them all out on yourself and collecting your favourites. Solo play imo is really satisfying in Kenshi when you focus on it.
