How to wipe out a camp

Hi,

I've got this camp of Band of Bones dudes at my doorstep.

(The Steam overlay seems to still not work in this game, so I can't post proper screenshots in these forums)

It seems far, yet at first when I made the kill zone outside of the wall line, the game stupidly attributed its ownership to the faction to whom the Exile Camp belongs, with ensuing problems with turrets, floodlights, power, etc. So I rebuild that part inside and it is working OK now. Now that I made sure that they are the source of all my problems in life, I need to do something about it, and rebuild outside because I'm a freaking aesthete :).

Anyway, I killed them all more than once, yet the game regenerates like 16 of them every few days. First time was funny though, I killed them all but the game kept telling me one was still around somewhere. Then I remembered I had imprisoned their leader worth a 10K bounty to deal with later and forgot about her :).

Anyway, shouldn't their camp disappear when it reaches these stats?

I went here to see if there was something ti destroy to have it disappear, but there are just two clickable enpty barrels. Consistency-wise, there shouldn't be anyone alive to recruit into the faction, so...

Factions can't be completely destroyed in vanilla, but mods like Reactive World make this possible.

camps and nests can be wiped out but they always respawn pretty quickly. Exile camp you're talking about is base, not camp/nest, it can be wiped out to be labelled as dead but bands of bones patrol groups still roam around toward Bonefields which is good for you to approach so you can make fun about their being hornless.

Band of Bones will continue to wander around at full strength until Tora the Fearless is taken out of play. Then, they'll still have some groups, but they'll be small in number.

As far as the camp being destroyed, it should eventually disappear, but you'll likely need to leave the zone so its state can be reset. (Maybe. Anything close to player bases can end up borking up the game. You could come back to the BoB owning your base...)

Tora was among the first from BoB to fall. She might not be dead though, she's still probably in a cell in Squin. But her legacy lives on.

Thing is, with this camp, I don't know what's intended and what's a bug, but it's darn unnerving. As I said above, at first the game gave ownership of my outside killing zone walls to said camp. Wiping it mulitple time did not change that, so I rebuilt it inside my base. So far walls ownership has not changed, tens of days later. But the gate, even though it belongs to me, is behaving strangely. Whenever I build the two outside searchlights on it, a little time later they disappear, even though I have some of those on outside walls closer to the camp. Just like a part of my walls disappeared, in the camp direction. Sounds more like a bug unrelated to the camp, so I stopped trying to fix it, but who knows.

With screenshots you can publish them on kenshi (or any steam game) as artwork if overlay isnt working for some reason. On other issues I know nothin im new.

Band of Bones, as I recalled, have 2 different base. One in the exile camp and the other in a ruined village. You need to visit both location and take out their named npc (kidnapping,
murdering or sell them off to slavery). After that, they will stop respawning tho you will still encountering their scattered remnant patrols. The exile camp will get repopulated after a few days if you wiped it out without taking out their leaders.

no no, not that village, but a ruin. I killed the named npc at the exile camp, executed at the acid river. But the bnb kept coming back to repopulate it, so I went to find their main base near Admag. I wipe the base and capture their leader, then the camp died for good and no more bnb.

I guess I have never seen it. I have seen New Kralia just SW of Admag, but that is Kral's Chosen. Perhaps one day I will run across the location you are typing about.

Are you sure thats a band of bones base? or one taken over by them for some reason. The ruin east of Admag? They are only scripted to owned exiled camp.
