That is a good idea, give it an honest try, even if they seem against it in beginning, just keeping trying to pet them, it might work out in the end.
Not at all my guy, finally being able to experience the true game is an awesome time. And yes, every step you take has potential to take you ona whole new adventure.
Sure you can, just don't let them feast on your team and suck out all your organs.
It depends on how you play and what you want out of the game. Kenshi is so janky, I can't really fault anyone for a little save-scumming now and then.
I also play with 4x bleed so people actually die and find the game far more fun when there are real risks and consequences.
In my current game I'm limiting myself in many ways such as no mining near a town as honestly it's kind of silly the ore so close is free to mine and not reserved by the factions.
You can have anything as pets when you make your own game starts. I advise against crimpers tho, they hongry
Of course there are exceptions, I meant more along the lines of playing the game naturally and living with consequences.
This is honestly true, the grind can get a little old if you have to restart all the time. But mostly trying to limit your savescumming makes the game that much more rewarding.
Their sacrifice will be remembered (not really)
Yeah, as I said, there will always be exeptions to any one "rule". I do this aswell as it's not really cool to have your entire playthrough go to waste simply because some jank. Having your whole squad be wiped out because you decided to take a shortcut through the shrieking forest is a different matter though lmao.
Certainly, play your SP games the way you want, but perhaps on occasion just give the game a chance, grit teeth, and play through when it doesn't go you way. Using intelligence and making crafty decisions is much more challenging than just leveling up your squad chars as fast as possible on training dummies...
Life is unpredictable and makes good stories. Just my $0.02 S!
