1) Make a folder in game files called "Mods"
2) Enter every mod in workshop content folder you downloaded.
3) Make a folder with the same name as the mod itself.
4) Fill it with the mod's content.
5) Paste the mod folder into the 1) folder xD
I want to make sure I do this right the first time, I have a lot of mods.
If you figure out a good way, do you mind coming back and giving some advice?
Some of my games perform BETTER in Win7Pro, even on older hardware. And, I'll have to have the OS for awhile, yet, for some other applications. (I have other systems, just game on that system for the most part.)
Also, probably easier to just copy the folder with the numbered name into the mod folder, then just rename it from whatever the mod is inside of it.

Hope it'll help you to finally deal with your problem :)
Your best shot it to ented a Workshop numbered mod folder > Create a new folder > Copy just the name of the mod and fill in the name for the empty folder > Then copy all contents in it and then reposition it in "Mods" inside Kenshi directory.
P.S.: It is tiresome but worth it.
Totally with you on this. In my case also moving to Windows 10 would be a determent to this system. I hate how much is locked away from the user, not to mention I dislike the design of Windows 10. Despite what people claim it's slower on many systems I've tried it on that were formally Windows 7. The lower performance of older games is just one of the many issues I have with 10. I won't even comment on 11 or the upcoming 12.
There is a way to download from steam workshop, it used to be very easy but is not so easy anymore. If no one has pointed out how, reply and I'll post links that will walk you thru.
Good luck!
