Is it normal in Shark?
I came in Shark first time. I got in fight with Red Sabers on my way to town. Got knocked out, slavers passing by tried to enslave me, while slavers fought red sabers I escaped. I came in Shark and one of Stone Rats demanded i pay him respect. It is not like it would bother me to do something stupid so that idiot won’t call Gang to attack me, but I played Shek, so I refused.

This lead to town massacre between gangs. Did I really had to „amuse“ that Stone rat idiot so this won’t happen?

Town is really ghost now, only few people in bars l

Shark often ends up a bloodbath, usually spiders or hounds cause it, and getting into a fight with the stone rats outside of the blackshifter's casino usually ends in a massacre (inside there they usually get shredded by blackshifters without escalating).

It is possible to reject the stone rat and make them afraid of you, but that doesn't always work.

I always slap that ♥♥♥♥♥ for good or ill. Result A: They respect me, Result B: the town murders itself. Either way I'm appeased.

I mean I just came there for a 1 Sniper recruit, got beaten, almost enslaved, came to Shark finally and city got wiped.
All because I wanted 1 recruit. I guess I ll return to border zone, at least it is stable: cities, animals, bandits.

does shark repopulate after awhile? or does it become a permanent ghost town after everyone dies?
If you trigger a world state it might repopulate but that would require killing Big Grim and probably Big Darkbrow (The leaders of the Hounds and Blackshifters respectively) as the Blackshifters might be deathwarring the Swampers. Some characters might not respawn even then and require an import (shopkeepers), an import will also reset the town's aggro (and interfaction relations with everyone but the player) so they will stop killing each other for the time being.

Green is worth it tho.

Probably but not yet. He dies fast from injuries, he gets his legs destroyed each fight. I have a squad of 5 now (used to be 6 but dog died after I thought dust bandits, beak things and Bone Bandits one after another, bone bandits butchered it).
Me, Ruka, Kang most things. Well to be fair Kang for some reason is our main reason we are still alive. I recruited a scorchlander with beginning stats in borderlands and green, and they are carried by me and Kang on our backs most of the time, especially Green who gets legs destroyed each fight.
I kinda feel like I have to stop bandaging his legs and change them on robotic

Well I mean. He's a sniper. He's no better at melee combat than a random nobody you pick up from a bar. If you want him to shine you gotta give him a decent crossbow and keep him out of the fray. Until you get enough meat shields to tie up the enemy, make your other characters taunt, then give him a fast loading bow and kite with him. With even a decent toothpick he can stunlock and bleed an enemy to death if you kite attentively.

He's also the best at challenging cacti to drinking contests, but this will probably not help you much in a fight.

I already have 4 frontiers but there are too many enemies if they are not animals.
Kang holds sometimes even 4-5 bandits alone, but one of bandits crowd always agroes on Green. My last battle against thrall droids who attacked me when I didn’t see them would be my end if random passing by gorilla didn’t smash all droids alone and left.

There is a reason why if you google "kenshi shark" it immediately suggests "kenshi shark civil war". So yeah that's normal.

My condolences for your dog. You should kill them all in revenge.

Imagine some people play without googling

There are two ways to beat the Stone Rat thug.
Method 1 - they will not bully anyone in a group larger than 6. Or 6 and larger, I forget. Note they will still bully your dudes if they show up alone/in a small group.
Method 2 - be literally stronger. The thug has a strength of around 18. When conversation triggers, you have the option of hitting them. If you are stronger, they will back down without further consequence.
