If so they dont require a structure- they simply list their overall quality and production per instance and you mine directly from it
So no more iron mines buildings like we had or like we still have with stone? How does automated ore mines work then?
They seem to run out of ore in my experience after fiddling with them. Despite building them on a nice 98 ore on the building screen, after actually building them it displays 0 and won't produce any ore.
"Automated Ore Mines" is redded out and when I hover over it, it says it requires "Automated Mining Tech" as a requirement.
Now, I was beginning to think that "Automated Mining Tech" is a blueprint we have to hunt down. Is this the case?
I am not an expert but it would seem as though you will have to "Tech Up" to that point, hence my question.
Stone still works the same way. Just make sure the ground you plan to build on has stone. Use the prospect button if you are unsure.
I am up to Tech level 3 and I can tell you there are no "Ore Mines" available early on. Iron nodes exist in the world and you will need them if you wish to build machinery. There are also copper nodes. Copper is required for various electronics. Farming has also changed. There are various Crops that grow in certain Biomes. Also, you might starve to death. Kenshi has come a long, long way. It is a difficult adjustment, but one worth making. Most resources/components are sold in shops. Everything is out to destroy you. Have fun.
Hmmmm... Strange though, I have 2 Ancient books in one of my Research Benches. I have 2 Research Benches though. Could that be causing it to "red out"?
